Q&A:
Q: Thinking about converting to LI Pigments and how someone can get started? (Name the colors they need the most)
A: I prefer to use the Li Pigments Aqua line.
- Aqua is a high-performance mineral, inorganic pigment line with some colors containing a blend of organic colorants to create balance and stable aging.
- Aqua is thin and flows exceptionally well with any needle.
- My favorite Aqua colors are: Breve, Hazelnut, Classic Brown, Dark Toffee, Espresso or Ebony.
- My favorite modifiers are: Non Violet, Brow Mod, Grey Vanish, Ungrey.
_____________
Q: What needle are you using?
A: I purchase needles from Tatsoul. For the ombre brow I use 1208RS and 1201RL.

_____________
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located in Las Vegas, Nevada! To be a little more specific, Henderson, Nevada. If you are traveling from out of town, we are only 10 minutes from the airport!
_____________
Q: Does it hurt?
A: It depends on your pain level but usually our clients say it isn't painful. We use a primary and secondary numbing to keep you comfy throughout the procedure.
_____________
Q: How long do they last?
A: About 3-4 years. Longevity can vary per skin type, products used, and technique chosen.
_____________
Q: What are your thoughts on bleeding like that? Does it push the pigment out?
A: If you use a shader needle it implants a ton of pigment. So the pigment easily saturates. If you use a smaller needle configuration bleeding can make things difficult.
_____________
Q: How do you hold your machine? What angle?
A: 45-65 degrees in comparison to the skin.
_____________
Q: What machine are you using?
A: Bishop V6.
_____________
Q: Why do you sit your client up to do tweaks?
A: I always sit them up because the face shape changes from laying down to sitting up.
_____________
Q: What are you using to mark your tweaks?
A: A toothpick.
_____________
Q: Did you outline or no outline?
A: No outline. If you do outline it can take away from the softness that the circles are creating for you. Outlining can cause a harsh outline to be visible when healed too. I prefer to keep my brows edges soft.
_____________
Q: How do you feel about the Bishop rotary pen?
A: I like it!
_____________
Q: What numbing do you use? Primary and secondary.
A: For the primary numbing we use Zensa and for the secondary we use Feel Better Now.
_____________
Q: When did you start to feel comfortable with PMU like into your start?
A: It took me about 4 years to really get comfy with PMU and I was doing it full time, 5 days a week. There's a lot to learn. 3 styles of powder brows, ombre brows, combination brows, nano hairstrokes, a variety of eyeliner styles, and even lips! Plus color theory! Did I say there's a lot to learn! lol
_____________
Q: What gave you the confidence to start your own PMU studio?
A: Covid! haha jk But I'm really not sure, I enjoy taking risks and had too much time on my hands. So it just felt like the next move.
_____________
Q: Are you doing pointillism with the round shader? Or a different needle?
A: You can do pointillism with a liner or a shader. A 1RL will put one dot of pigment in the skin and a 8RS will put 8 dots of pigment into the skin. Both are beneficial. Just remember the more dots you put closer together the faster and darker the saturation will build to be.
_____________
Q: Is your new course beginner freebie?
A: Absolutely! My online courses are always created with new and experienced PMU artists in mind.
