So you’ve gotten your permanent makeup done, Yea! We are so happy that you decided to take this step, even better if you did it with one of our amazing artists but now starts the healing journey. Like any procedure, there are things you can do to ensure that your skin not only will hold onto the pigment but to also ensure that you know what to expect un the next few weeks following. Let’s talk about the things to expect now that you have left the studio.

Start dabbing once you get home with a damp, wet paper towel with water.. And remember DAB DON’T DRAG! Dab them about every 15 minutes for the first 24-48 hours.

Make sure when you get home you change your pillowcase to a new clean one. A small step like this can help ensure that any Algerines wont effect your healing process.

Make sure to follow the guidelines for the ointments and treatments that our artists have given you to use.

DO NOT use any cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA), or exfoliants. Avoid this for the first 4 weeks minimum.

Be sure not to over-apply the post care ointments, as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing. The product should be barely noticeable on the skin.

Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally sluff away away. Picking can cause scarring or loss of color.

No facials, botox, chemical treatments or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.

Avoid exercise for one week.

Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks after the procedure.  And please wear a hat and SPF when you are outside after the brows are healed.

Avoid long, hot showers for the first 2 weeks.

Avoid sleeping on your face for at least 2 weeks.

Avoid  swimming, lakes, and hot tubs for the first 2 weeks.

Avoid topical makeup and sunscreen on the area until directly guided by your artist. General guideline is 3-4 weeks minimum.
