Do you know the questions you should be asking when thinking about getting permanent makeup?

Here is a few:

-What does the artists work look like healed?
-What does the artists work like healed 1-3 years out?
-Is the style you want, good for your skin type?
-What is the upkeep of permanent makeup like?

There’s more but that’s a good start!

Permanent makeup fades in time. It will fade faster if the technique you get isn’t right for your skin type. Permanent makeup can be applied many different ways (I’m not talking just about what it looks like) I’m talking about needle selection.

For example, machine hairstrokes vs microblading, completely different techniques, done with different tools/needles, and one over the other may be better for YOUR skin type! In the end both would give you very similar results but you need to discuss with your artist which one would be best for YOU!

Some people DON’T have skin that will do well with machine hairstrokes or microblading and if this is the case, wouldn’t you want an artist to tell you this? And then talk about your other options?
