The number one question we get is how to achieve long lasting saturation?
Longevity depends on a few different factors but the one I’d like to discuss is how much pigment is in the skin! (Using quality products is important too!) But let’s focus on how to get that good quality pigment into the skin!
We use Li Pigments for all of our eyeliner work.
Next, movements…depth, needles, and being able to SEE how much pigment is actually in the skin!
Movements: we work in small circles. Circles are a packing movement and place a butt load of ink into the skin and quickly.
Depth: this is important because if your depth isn’t consistent then the healed results won’t be consistent, you could end up with an ashes out color or even lots of light spots when healed.
Needles: we work with larger shaders most of the time. Needles that are considered large in the PMU industry anyways. This helps with packing in a ton of pigment very quickly causing less trauma and better/ longer lasting retention.
Lastly SEEING how much pigment is in the skin is important being able to see light spots! So slow down and look after each pass. Make sure the area your are working in is clean and you SEE no light spots!
