1) Practice mapping.

Mapping is everything. Make sure to practice PMU mapping until you're comfortable with getting the designs symmetrical. Bring in friends to help you practice!

2) Be conservative.

Stay close to the nature hair line. Not comfy with wing eyeliner, start by doing lash line enhancements. Remember we can always go darker and thicker once they're healed.

3) Don't be afraid of mistakes.

Manifest on creating your best work during your appointment. If you hyper focus on making a mistake, chances are you will make one.

4) You just have to start!

You just have to get started and learn as you go. If you keep waiting to feel 100% prepared you'll never start. Find a good mentor that will help you along the way!

5) Put your blinders on.

Stop comparing your work to others because everyone's PMU journey is going to be different. Focus on being the best version of yourself!
