   Mature skin can be thinner, drier, and more delicate. It’s important to adjust your technique to accommodate these changes. Use a lighter hand, turn your machine speed down, choose pigments carefully as they can retain color - and ash pigments out, and be mindful of healing times, which might be longer than for younger clients.

2. Consultation is Key
   Spend extra time during the consultation to understand your client’s goals and concerns. Mature clients might be more hesitant, so it’s important to reassure them that the results will be natural and tailored to their preferences. They always come with more sophisticated questions, and generally do their research - which makes our jobs easier!

3. Focus on Subtle Enhancements
   For mature clients, less is often more. Focus on creating soft, natural-looking enhancements that blend seamlessly with their existing features. The goal is to enhance, not overpower, their natural beauty. Think of doing a highly diluted, soft powder brow using an 8RS (which, would be gentler on the skin, than hairstrokes!)

4. Aftercare is Crucial
   Make sure your clients understand the importance of aftercare, especially since mature skin may need a bit more TLC during the healing process. Provide clear instructions and be available to answer any questions they might have.
